Facility Setting: Telemetry Unit (6W*NAH)
Assignment Type: Locum tenens / Travel Registered Nurse contract

Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,890–$1,940

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kentucky or compact state)
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient or acute care RN experience
Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care in a telemetry nursing unit
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
Develop, implement, and revise individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions and treatments
Provide patient and family education throughout the hospital stay and at discharge
Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and non-licensed healthcare personnel
Mentor and precept nursing staff, fostering teamwork and a positive healthcare environment
Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives within the healthcare facility
Comply with all regulatory standards and organizational nursing policies
