Telemetry RN Job Details – Louisville, KY

Location: Louisville, KY 40202 – Downtown Louisville, close to parks, restaurants, and cultural attractions
Unit: Telemetry (4GHK*NH)
Contract Duration: 10 weeks (October 26, 2025 – January 3, 2026)
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:45pm – 7:15am), every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Employment Type: Locum tenens, travel nursing contract
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient or acute care RN experience
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – American Heart Association preferred
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma required

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments in a telemetry unit
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Monitor, interpret, and document patient responses to clinical interventions and cardiac monitoring
Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge planning
Delegate and supervise tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as mentor and preceptor
Promote teamwork and participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in Practice Governance
