Job Title: Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Contract)
Location: Ascension Genesys Hospital, Grand Blanc, MI
Schedule: 36 hrs/week, 12-hr shifts | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Start: 09/22/2025 | End: 12/20/2025 | 13-week contract

Overview:
We are seeking experienced Telemetry RNs to provide compassionate, patient-centered care at Ascension Genesys Hospital. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients on Telemetry units and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide direct patient care and oversee delegated tasks.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Support quality and safety standards across assigned units.
• Float as needed to units including 2ST, CVC, 4S, 4N, 2SA, rehab, and observation.

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN License
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certification required (NIHSS preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or related experience

Patient Ratios:

• 2ST, CVC: 1:4–1:6
• Rehab: 1:6–1:7/8 (in a push, infrequent)
• Other units: 1:5–1:7/8 (in a push, infrequent)
