Telemetry RN Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1680
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours per Week: 36 (3 x 12-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Employment Type: Travel nursing
• Unit: Medical Surgical Telemetry (MSTELE)
• Patient Ratio: Typically 1:6
• Floating: May float to ICU or observation unit for similar acuity patients

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – West Virginia or compact state preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or Med/Surg RN experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Ability to work every other weekend (EOW)
• No blocked scheduling available

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical and surgical conditions, including post-surgical, infection, chronic and acute illnesses
• Provide pre- and post-operative care, wound care, pain management, and medication administration
• Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and coordinate diagnostic testing
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the care process
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to ICU or observation unit as needed for similar acuity patients
