Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Telemetry RN to join our inpatient nursing team. This role is critical in providing continuous cardiac monitoring and care for patients requiring observation for cardiac or other high-acuity conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and acute patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms via telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Perform frequent and comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and EKGs
• Administer medications, titrate IV drips, and manage complex care plans under provider direction
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other nursing staff
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and discharge care
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a telemetry, cardiac stepdown, or progressive care unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry equipment use
• Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and communication skills
