Job Posting: Registered Nurse – Special Procedures (Radiology)

Position Overview

Northside Hospital Cherokee is seeking a Registered Nurse with radiology experience for a 13-week contract assignment in the Breast Care Imaging department. The RN will primarily provide IV sedation to radiology patients and must be trained in ICU, ER, or PACU settings.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• End Date: February 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour days (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Days/Week: 5
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Pricing Negotiations: Permitted
• Local Candidate Policy: No candidates within 50 miles of facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology or special procedures
• ICU, ER, or PACU training required
• Current certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

Holiday Coverage Expectations

Candidates must be available to work:

• Two major holidays out of the following:
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day
• One minor holiday out of the following:
  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • New Year’s Eve
