Position Overview:
A facility in Saratoga, NY is seeking an experienced Psych Nurse to join their Inpatient Mental Health Unit (MHU/BHU). This role is ideal for a compassionate and clinically skilled RN with a strong background in behavioral health and crisis management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of recent inpatient psychiatric nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • De-Escalation training (CPI or equivalent)

Unit Details:
This is a high-acuity behavioral health setting requiring strong clinical judgment, emotional resilience, and the ability to manage psychiatric emergencies. Nurses must be confident in therapeutic communication, crisis intervention, and collaborative care planning.
