Position Overview

Northside Hospital Gwinnett is seeking a Registered Nurse with PACU experience for a 13-week contract assignment. This role involves providing post-anesthesia care during 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity surgical recovery environment.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• End Date: February 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Schedule Type: Deferred Schedule
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Days/Week: 3
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Pricing Negotiations: Permitted
• Contract Type:
  • Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
  • Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)
• Local Candidate Policy: No candidates within 50 miles of facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU or related specialty
• Current certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Holiday Coverage Expectations

Candidates must be available to work:

• Two major holidays out of the following:
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day
• One minor holiday out of the following:
  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • New Year’s Eve
