Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse – Pediatric ICU (PICU) to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. The PICU RN will provide critical care to pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions, working closely with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver safe and high-quality care.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents.
Monitor vital signs, ventilators, infusion pumps, and other life-support equipment.
Administer IV medications, blood products, and specialized treatments as prescribed.
Respond rapidly to emergencies and perform advanced life support interventions.
Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Educate and support families regarding patient condition, treatment, and recovery.
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies.
Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and follow-up coordination.

Requirements

Active RN License (Oklahoma or Compact).
Minimum 1–2 years of recent Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience required.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (TNCC preferred).
Strong pediatric critical care skills, with the ability to respond quickly in emergencies.
Excellent communication, compassion, and family-centered care approach.

Assignment Details

Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (Days/Nights)
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,740
