Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Pediatric ICU (PICU) position requiring a SD or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes critically ill pediatric patients
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment duration
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition
• Must be comfortable working independently during night shifts
• Holiday coverage may be required as assigned

Requirements

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• Previous PICU nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and any unit-required certifications
• No prior permanent employment with Avera or Sanford Health systems allowed
