About the Role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join a high-acuity unit in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves caring for patients with complex medical needs and performing advanced procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. First-time travelers are welcome, provided they meet the experience and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with respiratory distress/failure, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), seizures, and pain management needs
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation and IV drips
• Perform and manage arterial lines, central lines, and CVP monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient safety

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Certifications: BCLS and PALS

Patient Population

• Mixed acuity patients with a focus on respiratory and neurological conditions
• High-volume unit requiring strong clinical judgment and adaptability

Special Procedures

• Moderate sedation
• IV drips
• Arterial and central line management
• CVP monitoring
