TRACH AND VENT EXPERRIENCE IS A MUST
The 5D Progressive Care Unit is a 13 bed unit. Previous travel experience is not required; must have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience in specialty. CPN, CRRN preferred. Pyxis, tracheostomy, ventilator support (invasive and non-invasive); peripheral and central IV therapies (CVL, PICCs); general medical-surgical skills.
Ratio is 1:3-4. 1-2 PCTs per shift.
Floating is required to all Peds units; travelers are first to float.
RNs should expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing for the facility.
