Travel Nursing Job Details

• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown (Unit 6)
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Start Date: November 3, 2025
• End Date: January 26, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680 - $1800
• Travel Nursing Experience: Required

PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown Unit (SDU) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) experience
• Proficient with ventilator management at the IMC level
• Prior travel nursing experience in U.S. healthcare jobs
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification
• Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide provided)
• Ability to manage a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio during night shifts

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and manage critical drips (Cardizem titration, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Lasix, Bumex)
• Deliver care for patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, high flow oxygen, HHFNC, and ventilator support
• Provide clinical support for cardiac (NSTEMI, stress tests, cardioversions, TEE), neuro, renal, GI, and respiratory patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and advocate for patient needs
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions in a fast-paced clinical setting
