Position: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – RN, Days – 6VP

Schedule: 4x12s 

• Weekend requirement: Every other
• On-call: Not required
• Floating: Yes, within scope and between like units
• Block Scheduling: Not available
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment; once met, all contracted hours are guaranteed

Ratios: 1:4–5

Requirements:

• Must pass EKG exam (no exceptions)
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Locals not accepted (50-mile radius rule from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center)
• Pending license not accepted
• RTO: Per manager’s discretion

Special Requirements:

• Return staff must be gone for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• System limit: 2 contracts maximum (can extend once), then must be gone 6 months before returning
• Please provide interview availability upon submission
