• Beds: 20
• Staffing Model:
  • Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
  • Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 (standard), 1:6 (stretch depending on acuity)
• Patient Population:
  • Mixed level of care: medical-surgical and step-down patients
  • Short-stay patients (<24-hour LOS)
  • High turnover unit
• Equipment Used:
  • Telemetry (hardwired bedside monitors)
• EMR System: Cerner
• Floating Policy: Travelers may float to other units as needed
• Dress Code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, or all white

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care experience
• Telemetry competency
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent progressive care experience
