Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification, and a NC or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PACU (Recovery Room) of a hospital surgical services environment
• Care for patients recovering from surgical procedures
• Alternating 10-hour and 12-hour AM shifts with a 6:45 am start time
• No on-call responsibilities are required
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for surgical patients
• Participation in holiday coverage may be required
• Standard hospital setting with interdisciplinary team support

Requirements

• Active NC or compact state RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required
• At least one year of recent relevant RN experience is strongly preferred
