Title:Travel RN – PACU (Day Shift 5x8s) – Camden, SC

Position Details:

• Location: 1315 Roberts St, Camden, SC 29020
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 5x8 Day Shift (08:00–16:30, Monday–Friday)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Unit: Recovery (Phase I & Phase II PACU)
• Orientation: 24 hours

Pay Package:

• Total Hourly Pay Rate: $51.02/hour
  • Taxable W2: $18.00/hour
  • Non-Taxable Stipend: $33.02/hour
• Weekly Gross: $2,040.90/week
  • Taxable W2: $720.00/week
  • Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,320.90/week

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years RN experience (PACU strongly preferred)
• Prior travel experience required
• Active SC RN license or Compact license in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all required)
• Patient ratio 1:2 Phase I & II
• Willingness to float to like units
• Call requirement: 1x per week + 1 late shift, typically every 5th weekend with weekday coverage

Preferred/Key Skills:

• Procedural sedation administration
• Post-operative care for a variety of specialties including Gynecology, Cardiovascular, Ophthalmology, Gastrointestinal, ENT, and Orthopedics
• Dysrhythmia recognition/management
• Management of pediatric patients in PACU settings

Unit & Facility Highlights:

• 8-bed PACU; daily census ~15
• Interdisciplinary support: Respiratory, Radiology, Rapid Response, Pharmacy
• Free on-site parking
• Acute-care hospital, 119 total staffed beds
• Scrubs provided

Other Information:

• Locals accepted case-by-case at 10% lower rate
• RTO must be submitted up front
• Previous perm staff must be separated from MUSC system for at least 1 year to return as traveler
• Hurricane season readiness required (June–Nov)
