Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, weekdays, and every other weekend required.

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team on a night shift. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced, acute environment, handling a mix of inpatient and observation unit responsibilities.

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions, including acute Myocardial Infarction (MI), unstable angina, congestive heart failure (CHF), and unstable arrhythmias.
• Manage post-operative care for CVA surgical patients and conduct observations in a high-turnaround unit.
• Administer and manage IV drips, including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, dopamine, and nitro.
• Perform various procedures such as cardioversion, TEE, thoracentesis, bone marrow biopsy, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and paracentesis.

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in telemetry or acute care settings.
• Must hold a valid West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending licenses acceptable).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, with a preference for certifications via the American Heart Association.
• Experience managing post-cardiac catheterization and angiogram patients is required.
