Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Level 2 trauma and multi-specialty surgical expertise for a travel assignment in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Handles Level 2 trauma surgical cases
• Proficiency required in orthopedic, vascular, neuro, general/gynecology, and urology procedures
• Work schedule and RTO must be requested prior to consideration
• 50-mile radius rule; local candidates are not eligible
• Responsible for circulating and scrubbing duties across multiple surgical specialties
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• Assignment is not available to candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
• Travelers are limited to one assignment per local traveler

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Level 2 trauma experience required
• Experience in orthopedic, vascular, neuro, general/gynecology, and urology surgeries required
• Recent travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Submission of work history, skills checklist pertinent to the specialty (within 1 year), and two supervisory references from the last two years required
