**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN/OR)**

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR) with a primary focus on orthopedic procedures. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in scrubbing and possess excellent communication abilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care in a variety of surgical procedures, primarily focusing on orthopedics.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of care.
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Conduct patient education and support pre-operative and post-operative processes.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Experience in the Operating Room, specifically for orthopedic surgeries.
- Scrub experience is highly preferred.
- Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) experience is an advantage.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Willingness to be on call and work rotating day and evening shifts.

**Work Conditions:**
- Contract position with 40 hours per week, including on-call requirements.
- Orientation held on a biweekly basis.
- Schedule requests approved at the manager's discretion.
