Key Job Details – Illinois Nursing Jobs

• Location: Rock Island, IL 61201
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (12/7/2025 – 3/8/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2190 - $2350
• On Call: 1 shift per week (end of shift to 0630 the following morning; 1 shift per week end of shift to 1900)
• Weekend Requirement: Every fourth weekend
• EMR: EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois or Iowa (Illinois nursing jobs preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• Proficient in all surgical case types except open heart
• Hands-on experience with Da Vinci robotic procedures required
• At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
• Ability to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (local travelers not accepted)

OR Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a busy Operating Room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrate advanced skills in Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgeries and a variety of surgical procedures
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled weekend coverage
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
