Breast Oncology and Distal Extremity Hand Cases

General Information

Beds: 4 ORs, 23 pre/post rooms
Will you accept a traveler with 1 year experience? No, 2 years
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types:
- Staff work elective surgeries from 5am-5pm. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are for emergent cases
- Outpatient
- Ophthalmology – cataracts, retinas
- Ortho – minor ortho cases such as carpal tunnel release, trigger finger release, cyst removals, occasional I&D, ORIF (wrists mostly)
- Breasts/plastics – breast reductions, implants, cancer cases (anything from biopsies to mastectomies), eye lifts, panniculectomies
Patient Ratios:
- Pre/post: 1:3
- OR: 1:1
Required Certifications:
- BLS, WI license
Skills required
- OR experience
- Experience with above cases
- Recent Ophthalmology experience is a must

10 hour shifts, start time varies 630am & 7am depending on surgery schedule
