Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent circulating experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse
• Proficiency in Orthopedic surgical procedures: total joints, hip fractures, arthroscopy, ORIFs, shoulder scopes/replacements
• Experience with General, Neuro, Vascular, Gynecological, and Urology surgeries
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year) relevant to Operating Room nursing
• Two supervisory references with employment dates
• Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of Mattoon (local candidates not eligible)

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver competent nursing care in the Operating Room according to established clinical standards
• Circulate and assist in diverse surgical procedures, prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care
• Foster a supportive and caring environment for patients and fellow staff
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
