Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Location: 1829 College Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502
Shift: Days | 5x8 hours (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) | Mon–Fri | No weekends, holidays, or call

The OR RN will provide perioperative nursing care in a busy 6-room operating suite, with a strong focus on orthopedic and sports medicine cases. Nurses are expected to manage the full surgical workflow, from case prep and setup through turnover and instrument management.

• Scrub and circulate in high-volume orthopedic surgeries including total joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder, ankle).
• Assist in sports medicine procedures (ACL repairs, shoulder scopes, rotator cuff, meniscus repairs).
• Pull own cases, set up ORs, and complete room turnovers.
• Collaborate with surgical techs and assist sterile processing with instruments when needed.
• Maintain patient safety and ensure compliance with OR protocols.

• Active RN License – Kansas or Compact
• BLS & ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years OR RN experience (No first-time travelers)
• Strong orthopedic and sports medicine OR experience required
• Ability to work independently with minimal vendor support

• 6 ORs (4 dedicated to orthopedics daily)
• Average 25 cases/day
