Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for night shifts in a high-tech operating room with a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma background.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a large operating room environment with 26 high-tech suites
• Handles both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures
• Patient population includes neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups
• Surgeries include ENT, general, orthopedics, plastics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral, neuro, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• On-call required: 4 to 5 shifts per 13-week contract, may be 12-hour shift or on-call, day or night
• Role involves circulating and scrubbing for a wide range of surgical specialties
• Supports both emergency and elective surgical cases in a trauma setting
• Candidates must be prepared for all age groups and highly specialized procedures

Requirements

• Active NH or compact state RN license required and must remain active throughout the assignment
• Current BLS certification required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma OR experience within the last 2 years
• No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
