Shift: Nights – 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Block Schedule: Not available

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years acute care OR experience
  • Must be able to scrub and circulate independently
  • Robotic, ENT, ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro experience required
• Certifications:
  • BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Licensure: Active NJ RN license required at submission
• Charting System: Epic
• Scrubs: Provided

Call & Weekend Requirements:

• Call: Required – 2 shifts per schedule
  • Weeknights: 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Weekends: Every other weekend
• Holiday Policy: Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)

• Trauma Level: Level II
• Patient Mix: All OR specialties except open heart
• Specialties Covered:
  • Vascular: AAA repair, AV fistula, carotid procedures
  • Neuro: Craniotomy, spinal fusions, discectomy
  • General Surgery: Appendectomy, colon resection, thyroidectomy
  • Ortho: Total joints, fracture repairs, arthroscopy
  • Robotics: GI, GYN, neuro, ortho, ENT, urology
  • ENT, Thoracic, Bariatrics, Plastics, Transplant, Urology
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, Phillips monitoring system
• Preferred Skills: Trauma experience, charge experience
