Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Flagstaff, Arizona 86001
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) contract
• Healthcare Setting: Level I Trauma Center, Short Term Acute Care Facility
• Start Date: November 3, 2025
• End Date: February 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:00), Friday – Sunday block
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (facility may call off up to 6 times per 13-week assignment)
• On-Call: Limited; up to 8 weeknight call shifts in an 8-week period (30-minute callback time)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Scrubs: Provided
• Charting System: Cerner
• Parking: Free onsite
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1930

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact state nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Proven experience in general, orthopedic, spine, trauma, and neuro (including craniotomies) surgical cases
• Level I trauma experience required (will consider highly skilled clinicians with recent Level II trauma experience in similar or larger facilities)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to participate in limited on-call rotation as assigned
• Comfortable working a Friday – Sunday block schedule
• First-time travel nurses welcome!

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, prioritizing patient safety and compliance with facility protocols
• Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures: orthopedic, trauma, spine, neuro, and general surgeries
• Respond rapidly and effectively in emergency and trauma situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical support staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner electronic health records
• Participate in limited on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes as needed
• Adhere to quality standards and patient safety protocols, including medication administration
• May float to other clinical areas as needed based on skills and facility requirements
