Position Overview

Northside Hospital Duluth is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. The RN will support surgical procedures across orthopedic, bariatric, general, and plastic surgery specialties.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• End Date: February 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Days/Week: 3
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Pricing Negotiations: Permitted
• Contract Type:
  • Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
  • Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)
• Local Candidate Policy: No candidates within 50 miles of facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in orthopedic, bariatric, general, and plastic surgery procedures

Holiday Coverage Expectations

Candidates must be available to work:

• Two major holidays out of the following:
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day
• One minor holiday out of the following:
  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • New Year’s Eve
