Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room (OR) RN to join our perioperative services team. The OR RN plays a critical role in supporting surgical procedures by ensuring a safe, sterile environment and providing skilled nursing care before, during, and after surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room with surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Serve as a circulating or scrub nurse during surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional status throughout the perioperative period
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other members of the surgical team
• Document patient care and surgical activities accurately and in real-time
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition with calm and precision

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and aseptic technique
