Travel Nursing Job Details

• Healthcare Setting: Main Operating Room, Level I Trauma Center

• End Date: January 26, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,700 - $1,820
• On-call: Up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks
• Holiday Coverage: Required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's)
• Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Provided

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license (must be issued/active before start date)
• BLS certification required
• Radiation badge (provided by agency)
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Scrub nurse experience strongly preferred
• First-time travel nurses accepted
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

OR RN Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in a high-acuity operating room covering all surgical specialties: Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotic Surgery
• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage for weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled
• Float between similar units or sister facilities as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including radiology, pharmacy, and support staff
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Adhere to hospital policies and emergency response protocols, especially during hurricane season
