**Job Title: Travel Operating Room (OR) Nurse**

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be required to coordinate and provide exceptional patient care in a high-paced operating room environment. This position is pivotal in ensuring the highest quality of care during various surgical procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Function effectively as both a circulator and a scrub nurse during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide care for a diverse range of surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, oncology, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, cardiovascular, trauma, and utilize Da Vinci robotics.
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.

**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an operating room setting, with significant experience in large trauma level-1 environments.
- Recent experience (within the last 2 years) with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) is mandatory and non-negotiable.
- Proven ability to circulate and scrub in the operating room; candidates should provide checklists demonstrating proficiency in both roles.
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including working weekends and being on call.
- Availability to work 2 out of 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.

**Additional Information:**
- This assignment is for a duration of 16-32 weeks, starting on 10/06.
- Weekly orientations are held bi-weekly on Mondays with the next available orientation on 10/20.
- Reliable transportation is essential as public transportation is not available in the area.
- Candidates must provide comprehensive work history, including details on bed count, EMR usage, and facility type.
