Travel Nurse RN - Occupational Health - $1,571 per week

Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Occupational Health for a travel nursing job in Cudahy, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

• Provides professional Occupational Health nursing services to the staff.
• Acts as an advocate for the health and safety of the staff members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience: 

• A minimum of two years of experience in areas of general patient care, demonstrating leadership and organizational abilities is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act and Standards of Practice for Occupational Health Nurses.
• Working knowledge of all equipment used in assessing and providing primary health care.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 

Preferred Skills & Experience: 

• Knowledge of Occupational Medicine is preferred.

Required Education: 

• Associate’s degree in nursing. 

Preferred Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing. 

Required Certifications & Licensure: 

• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state RN License Required
• BLS - AHA. 

Preferred Certifications & Licensure: 

• COHN or COHN-S 

Additional Notes:

• 5 Month contract **** Possibility to extend or convert to FTE ****
• Schedule: Tue, Wed & Fri (09:00a - 05:30p) 

Scope of Responsibilities: 

• Basic first aid, triage of work-related injuries, drug screens, visions screens, audiograms, administering flu and Tdap vaccines, supporting Advanced Practice Provider and employer safety team. 

Top Qualifications: 

• Occupational Health, Urgent Care and/or Ortho experience needed.
