Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Women's and Family Center. This crucial role involves assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the direction of a licensed physician, ensuring high standards of nursing practice are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patient care needs and develop individualized care plans using the nursing process.
Collaborate with patients, their families, and healthcare team members for optimal care delivery.
Implement and evaluate the care provided to assigned patients.
Direct nursing support staff in accordance with administrative and departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of current nursing practices, principles, and techniques.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical specialty (preferred).
Licenses: Current PA Registered Nurse License (required).
Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification (required).

Work Schedule

This position requires a 12-hour shift in the AM, with guaranteed hours on a contract basis for 92 weeks.
