Job Description

The Acute Rehabilitation Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized care in an acute rehabilitation setting, focusing on patients recovering from illnesses or injuries while helping them regain independence and functional abilities. This role combines acute care skills and rehabilitation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating total nursing care for patients
• Participating in patient and family teaching
• Providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel
• May serve as a backup Charge Nurse

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of recent Med-Surg Rehabilitation experience
• Charge Nurse experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience (at least 3 months) required
• BSN preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Candidate must have their own vehicle for transportation
