Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience on a stroke unit
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding quickly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding clinical care and recovery
• Accurately document patient care and nursing interventions
• Participate in stroke unit protocols and contribute to positive patient outcomes
