Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Ortho/Neuro unit night shift position, requiring BLS and NIHSS certifications and a current IA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the 8SW Neuro/Ortho unit of a hospital setting
• Care for orthopedic and neurological patient populations
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Holiday rotation required
• Provide nursing care for a mix of orthopedic and neuro patients
• Documentation must be uploaded to license verification systems such as NURSYS before start
• Front and back images of certifications must be provided for employment consideration
• COVID vaccine documentation required

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
