Job Description

Join our fast-paced Adult Emergency Department that manages over 100,000 visits a year and stands as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population with a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses. As a Boarder RN in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for the care of med/surg boarder patients, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5 with the support of assistive personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for med/surg boarder patients within the ED.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and perform interventions as necessary.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NYS RN License
• 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Telemetry experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
