• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,760–$1,890 per week
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Floating: Required to other Med/Surg Telemetry floors
• Scrubs: Royal Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Maryland or compact state)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required; 4 years preferred
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:5 or higher preferred
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to float between similar Med/Surg Tele units as needed
• First-time travel nurses not accepted

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adolescent, adult, pediatric (minimal), and geriatric patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and document nursing care accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy
• Provide care for patients with med/surg, postoperative, and COVID-19 diagnoses
• Float to other Med/Surg Telemetry units as required
• Participate in orientation and complete required modules prior to assignment start
