Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN to float between Med/Surg and Rehab units on night shifts, requiring previous travel and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting, floating between Medical/Surgical and Rehab units
• Required to float to all company locations as needed, with primary assignment in Neenah and potential at Appleton
• Patient ratios typically 1:5-6, with RNs paired with LPN or CNA based on patient acuity
• Typical patient population includes Med/Surg and Rehab cases, with some pre- and post-cath and post-pacemaker care, and rare pediatric patients
• 12-hour night shifts beginning at 5:30 pm
• Every other weekend required
• Must participate in a holiday rotation and be available for at least two holiday or evening shifts
• Candidates must be hardworking, resilient, and able to manage change effectively
• Social and adaptable candidates are preferred
• Scrub color is black
• RN will work with support staff based on patient acuity
• Not open to first-time travelers
• Holiday and evening shift participation is required

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• At least 3 years of RN experience required
• Previous travel contract experience required
• Epic charting experience within the last year required
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the corporate center to be eligible
