Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Midland, MI 48640 (Michigan travel nursing jobs)

• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call: No call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience (required)
• Oncology nursing experience (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Travel nursing experience (highly preferred)
• Epic EMR experience (preferred)
• Must provide recent work history, current skills checklist (within 1 year), and 2 supervisory references (within last 2 years)
• Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of Midland, MI

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Medical/Oncology unit
• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and responding to patient needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to update and revise treatment plans based on patient progress
• Process and execute physician/provider orders accurately and promptly
• Follow up on medication changes and clarify orders as needed
