Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)Location - Middlebury, VT

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN to join our team for an ASAP start. This role offers a structured schedule, with travelers required to work 2 out of 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day. This position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients.

• Administer insulin drips and cardiac drips safely and accurately.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.

• Follow hospital protocols and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Travel RN experience required – no first-time travelers.

• Insulin drip and cardiac drip experience – REQUIRED.

• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS

  • AHA ACLS

  • NIHSS – must be completed prior to start

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience (Progressive Care experience preferred).

  • EPIC experience within the past 2 years – non-negotiable.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including every other weekend.

• Reliable personal or rental vehicle is required; public transportation is not available.

• For winter months (Nov–Apr), vehicles must have all-season or snow tires.

• No block scheduling permitted.

• IVS to offer – quick interview-to-offer process.

• Bi-weekly orientation sessions available.

• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained during submission.

• Complete work history details are required, including bed count, EMR used, and facility type.
