• Contract Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) assignment
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: February 16, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:45 - 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Unit: Medical Telemetry 4 South
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1650-$1770

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience with ER holding and telemetry monitoring
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Ability to float to other medical/surgical units as needed
• Preferred: Community hospital experience

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post-cardiac procedures
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips (heparin, cardizem, amiodarone), initiate sotalol, and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
• Perform blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, and wound care
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Float to other qualified med/surg units as needed to support patient care
• Complete pre-assignment testing and required modules prior to start
