Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 3-week Med/Surg Telemetry travel nursing job in Ithaca, NY. Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details

• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 3 weeks (March 17, 2025 – April 7, 2025)
• Unit: 4 North Med/Surg Telemetry
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2620–$2810
• Employment Type: Travel RN contract
• No on-call required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (New York State or compact license)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient management
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and implement nursing care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Support the unit during the EPIC Go Live transition
