Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts (Cape Cod) – Access to outdoor recreation, local shops, and cultural attractions
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Float Pool
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 3, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating nights (7pm-7:30am), every other weekend, rotating holidays; float between units as needed
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care hospital
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Must pass CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams prior to start date
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in nursing informatics
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN), ACLS certification, cardiac patient management experience, and specialty certifications (Oncology, Ortho, Dialysis, etc.)

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Guide and direct patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary staff
• Maintain accurate and current patient records
• Document comprehensive assessments, including physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning
• Serve as a resource for patient care, staff orientation, and education
• Demonstrate proficiency as charge nurse and in nursing informatics
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold hospital standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
