Med/Surg Float Pool RN Job Details

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (required at application)
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (current and valid)
• Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption is provided

Med/Surg Float Pool RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as a Float Pool RN
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and perform clinical interventions according to hospital protocols
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
