Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical (MS)
Location:  Enid, OK 73701
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (5:45 PM – 6:15 AM)
Work Hours: 36 hours/week (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Contract Duration : 13

Position Summary:

The RN will fulfill the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. The role requires competent, caring, and efficient delivery of nursing care across the lifespan, focusing on medical-surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a competent and efficient manner, applying knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, and document findings appropriately.
• Complete admission assessments within established timeframes, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
• Interpret patient information to determine nursing needs and range of treatment required.
• Ensure patient care aligns with licensure, certification, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license to practice in Oklahoma.
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Cerner electronic health record experience required.
• 1-2 years of travel nursing experience preferred.
• BSN degree highly desired.
• Must live at least 100 miles away from the work location.
