Travel RN Med/Surg Job Details

• Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (Night Shift)

• Facility: Main Building, 9 Tower
• Unit: 20-bed Med/Surg (Burn and Flap Post-op focus)
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1470-$1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Experience with wound care, burn care, and post-op recovery preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system is a plus
• BLS certification required

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients, including post-op burn and flap cases
• Perform wound and dressing care, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with charge nurses, LPNs, and patient care technicians to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Operate clinical equipment such as hoyer lifts, air taps, and wound vacs
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment and uphold high standards of patient safety
• Follow all unit guidelines, hospital policies, and healthcare safety protocols
