Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Beaufort, SC 29902 (South Carolina nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Adult Medical Surgical Oncology Unit (5T)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00); weekdays, every other weekend, holidays, and float as needed
• Hours per Week: 36
• Start Date: November 5, 2025
• End Date: February 4, 2026
• Employment Type: Travel RN contract
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1570–$1680
• Scrubs: Royal blue/white (not provided)
• EMR System: Meditech

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience (Medical Surgical nursing jobs)
• Active South Carolina RN license (required at time of submission)
• BCLS certification
• IV start skills required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech charting system preferred
• Ability to float to PCU and other Med/Surg units as needed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Comfortable with high patient ratios (5-6:1) and frequent floating

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses: wounds, sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, chest pain, AKI, dialysis, oncology, and end-of-life care
• Perform IV starts and manage central and peripheral lines
• Administer blood products, medications, and manage surgical drains
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services
• Float to other hospital units as needed
• Participate in rapid response/code teams and adhere to isolation precautions
• Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
