Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Contract)
Location: Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, West Bloomfield, MI
Schedule: 36 hrs/week, 12-hr shifts (3 shifts per week) 7:00 AM- 7:30 PM

Overview:
Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join the team. The RN will provide safe, compassionate care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process.
• Monitor patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Administer medications and interventions, including emergency response when needed.
• Support and educate patients and families throughout the birthing process.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team.

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN License
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Postpartum experience required
