About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Current licensure by the state nursing board Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: - Labor and Delivery experience - Post-Partum experience Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Demonstrates clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Performs a wide variety of professional nursing services. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare personnel. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
